In 2021 with the pandemic at its peak and online shopping the norm, the “buy now, pay later” market faced stiff competition and was still a relatively new concept to shoppers. Afterpay’s annual sale, “Afterpay Day,” a four-day discount bonanza, needed to convey the scale of the deals as well as clearly and concisely educate (think: mobile-friendly) how Afterpay worked.
