McDelivery Launch on DoorDash

When McDonald's partnered with DoorDash to celebrate their nationwide delivery rollout, I led the copywriting on a very big promotion: a giveaway of one million Big Mac sandwiches for just one cent and one lucky $1 million sweepstakes winner.

I created the TV commercial script that brought this offer to life, capturing its urgency (and massive scale!). I also created a campaign tagline with a promo-appropriate twist on a familiar saying: “Put your mouth where the money is.”

The commercial aired on national primetime TV and garnered press mentions on Business Insider, Thrillist, Delish, Elite Daily, and local Fox and ABC news channels. It established DoorDash as a key delivery partner for McDonald’s as it expanded its footprint from 200 locations to over 9,300 nationwide on the platform. In addition to the commercial, I helped scale the creative across all paid and organic social channels, web and mobile banners, an email series, and a Medium blog post.
